Through Homewood Helps, $10 could feed a child for a weekend, and $400 could provide a child with food each weekend for a school year.

Homewood Helps is actively engaged with school leaders, businesses, churches, and other community organizations to help meet the basic needs of the children in Homewood City Schools. Donations for Homewood Helps are administrated through the Homewood City Schools Foundation.

Volunteer

Help us pack our food bags. We need 10 volunteers each week to help us pack our weekend bags with all the food items for each student. This usually takes 1-2 hours and takes place at Trinity Outreach Hub - 914 Oak Grove Road. Click the button below to sign up to volunteer.

Bed Assembly - We partner with Sleep in Heavenly Peace to ensure that all of our students have their own bed to sleep on each night. Sleep in Heavenly Peace gives every child a new twin mattress, wooden bedframe, and bed sheets and pillow. We hope to have multiple “build days” throughout the year.
